Kettlebell Training Program: Week 1

📅 Day 1: Full Body Endurance 📝 Description: Today’s workout is a Total Body session. This workout consists of two parts and a core finisher. The goal of this workout is to increase your heart rate and keep it there throughout the session.


💪🏻 Muscles Worked: Full Body ⏱ Time: 45 Minutes 🏋️‍♀️ Equipment: A Medium to heavy Kettlebell and a mat for core work. Grab some water too!


Day 1 focuses on building endurance and challenging your cardiovascular system. The workout will engage your entire body, targeting multiple muscle groups. It begins with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body for the intense session ahead. The workout is divided into two parts, each consisting of various kettlebell exercises that incorporate strength and endurance. The exercises may include kettlebell swings, goblet squats, lunges, snatches, and more. The core finisher will help strengthen your midsection and stabilize your body. Remember to stay hydrated throughout the workout and take breaks when needed.


📅 Day 2: Strength – Upper Body Focus 📝 Description: Today’s workout is a sweaty strength workout that focuses on the upper body. The time to work will be shorter, and the rest will be longer, so GO HEAVY.


💪🏻 Muscles Worked: Upper Body, Core, Glutes ⏱ Time: 30-40 Minutes 🏋️‍♀️ Equipment: A heavy kettlebell. Females aim for 25 to 30 lbs or 15kg. Males aim for 30 to 45 lbs or around 20 kg. You will also want a mat, preferably a glute band, and grab some water.

Day 2 is all about building strength in your upper body. The workout is designed to challenge your muscles and promote growth and definition. With shorter working periods and longer rest periods, you’ll have the opportunity to lift heavier weights and push yourself to the limit. Exercises may include kettlebell presses, renegade rows, push-ups, Turkish get-ups, and more. Don’t forget to engage your core and glutes throughout the workout for maximum stability and strength.


📅 Day 3: REST or join me in person at Find Your Flow Studio


Day 3 offers a well-deserved rest day. Take this opportunity to recover, relax, and prepare for the upcoming workouts. If you prefer a more interactive experience, consider joining us at the Find Your Flow Studio for an in-person session where you can receive additional guidance and support.

📅 Day 4: Strength – Lower Focus 📝 Description: Today’s workout is a sweaty strength workout that focuses on the LOWER body. The time to work will be shorter, and the rest will be longer, so GO HEAVY.


💪🏻 Muscles Worked: Lower Body, Core, Glutes ⏱ Time: 30-40 Minutes 🏋️‍♀️ Equipment: A heavy kettlebell. Females aim for 25 to 30 lbs or 15kg. Males aim for 30 to 45 lbs or around 20 kg. You will also want a mat, preferably a glute band, and grab some water.


Day 4 targets your lower body, aiming to strengthen your legs, glutes, and core. The workout includes exercises such as kettlebell squats, lunges, deadlifts, and hip thrusts. By focusing on your lower body, you’ll improve your balance, stability, and overall lower body strength. Remember to choose a challenging weight that allows you to complete each set with the proper form. Rest periods are longer, allowing you to recover adequately and maintain intensity throughout the workout.


📅 Day 5: Full Body Endurance 📝 Description: We are repeating Day 1’s workout, so track your progress on the weight you are using. Can you go heavier? Do you need to scale it back? This workout consists of two parts and a core finisher. The goal is to increase your heart rate and keep it there throughout the session.

Day 5 revisits Day 1’s workout to assess your progress and challenge your endurance. Take note of the weights you used previously and determine if it’s time to increase the load. Push yourself to maintain proper form while lifting heavier kettlebells. The workout will follow the same structure as Day 1, engaging your full body and testing your stamina. Focus on pushing through fatigue and maintaining a steady heart rate throughout the session.


📅 Day 6: Rest and Recover 📝 Description: Take time today to recover. Go for a walk, focus on stretching, and work on mobility. Check out my recovery and Mobility channel online for more.


Day 6 is dedicated to recovery and restoration. Allow your body to rest and repair from the intense workouts of the week. Engage in light activities such as walking, stretching, and mobility exercises to promote blood flow, reduce muscle soreness, and enhance your overall flexibility. 📅 Day 7: Strength – Upper Body Focus 📝 Description: Repeating Day 2’s workout, aim to go heavier today to progress and build true strength. The time to work will be shorter, and the rest will be longer, so GO HEAVY.

On Day 7, you’ll revisit the upper body strength workout from Day 2. Challenge yourself to lift heavier weights and progress further in your fitness journey. By decreasing the working time and increasing the rest periods, you’ll have the opportunity to maximize your strength gains. Stay focused on engaging your upper body muscles, core, and glutes to maintain stability and control throughout the exercises.
