Strong Magazine Women to Watch: January/February Issue
When Strong Magazine reached out to feature me in their January/February issue as one of their Women to Watch, I had one of those pause-and-breathe moments.
Gratitude. Pride. And honestly, reflection.
Because while the feature highlights me, it represents something much bigger than a single moment or title.
It represents the women who show up even when life feels heavy.
The ones rebuilding strength after burnout, heartbreak, or self-doubt.
The ones learning that taking care of their bodies is also an act of self-trust.
What “Women to Watch” Really Means to Me
To me, being a Woman to Watch isn’t about visibility alone, it’s about impact.
It’s about redefining strength beyond aesthetics and performance, and bringing the focus back to sustainability, confidence, and feeling at home in your body. It’s about helping women reconnect with movement as something that supports their lives, not something that drains them.
This recognition feels especially meaningful because my work has never been about perfection or pushing harder at all costs. It’s been about meeting women where they are and helping them build strength that actually lasts—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
The Journey Behind the Feature in Strong Magazine
What doesn’t always make it into a magazine spread are the quieter chapters of the story:
- The pivots that felt scary before they felt aligned
- The moments of questioning whether this work really mattered
- The commitment to keep showing up, even when growth felt slow
This feature is a reminder that consistency compounds. That passion paired with purpose has a way of finding its audience. And that doing work rooted in integrity eventually gets noticed.
As quoted in the feature:
I believe a strong woman is one who isn’t afraid of failure; she embraces it.
Why This Matters for the Women I Serve
If there’s one thing I hope women take away from this feature, it’s this:
You don’t need to be louder, leaner, or more polished to be powerful.
Strength looks different on everyone, and it evolves as our lives do. Whether you’re just starting your journey, coming back after time away, or redefining what “strong” means for you now, you are worthy of support, guidance, and belief.
Looking Ahead for The KettleBelle Community
Being named a Strong Magazine Woman to Watch doesn’t feel like a finish line, it feels like an invitation.
An invitation to keep building spaces where women feel seen.
To continue creating programs rooted in strength, resilience, and real life.
And to keep reminding women that they are capable of more than they’ve been led to believe, on their own terms.
To everyone who has been part of this journey: thank you. This recognition belongs to all of us.
